Hi guys,

I recently bought a Breitling for Bently Motors T Speed, and I love it ! The only problem is that, as a student, I cannot wear it during the week. (Too dangerous to wear a watch like this here.) So I can only wear it during the weekends and holidays.

I also have an old TAG Formula 1 watch, which I bought when I were 17 years old. Back then, I loved it, but now it looks too childish for me, so I would like to buy a new but CHEAP watch. (< 1000 EUR / 1250 USD / 850 GBP)

I don't know much about cheaper brands, could you guys help me a little bit? I found out that Steinhart makes very cheap watches, http://www.steinhartwatches.de/ , and they do look nice as well ! Do you guys know any other cheap brands?

Thanks !

NS

There's been a few threads on this recently so if you do a search you'll no doubt find some good info.

I own a Steinhart and think they're good value for money. Depending on what you're after, other brands to consider at that price point include Oris, Hamilton, Tissot and perhaps Borschett (not sure on price). I'm sure others will contribute but for me I'd definitely look at Oris.

Good luck.

Buy one of the LE Steinharts that are on this forum, you get an awful lot of watch for the money :lingsrock:

I'm a huge fan of Hamilton watches. Jazzmaster for a dressier look. I also like the look of some from the khaki line also. Alot of watch for the money.
