Hey i live in Montreal and i want to insure my watch and my wife's jewelery. I called my normal insurance and the price is kind of steep for jewelery.

Any info on that would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have them on my home insurance (Intact, formerly ING) and it's very reasonable. The insurance includes all contents up to a percentage of the home's value as long as items over $1,000 are listed. You can also increase the percentage for reasonable fees. Not sure how standard that is - I go through a broker that I have been with for years and looks after things.

ok. My insurance covers jewelery for 3000$. Items over 1500 $ must have a specified insurance for them. A 4000$ item was 112$ per year. :?
