Nice first post ![]() By virtue of the fact that someone is replying to the post I guess you can't be a social outcast, so no worries there. There are a few freaks on here who wear their watch on the 'wrong' wrist, citing excuses about being left handed or some such nonsense. We're a tolerant community so while we do look down our noses at them we still try to let them hang around the place. At the end of the day they are rather an embarassment, but they're still Ling lovers, so there is some hope. ![]() ![]() Seriously, it's your watch, wear it however it feels comfortable. My father always wore his watch on the inside of his wrist - so what. Welcome to BreitlingSource. |

+1 for the right wrist...I find it more comfortable and I'm left handed so wearing it on my right will keep it from getting scratched up. |

Firstly I do not understand the question? The wright wrist is Right full stop? Anybody who wear their watch on the left is just sinister in my opinion. Do not I repeat DO NOT wear your watch on the left, it is just wrong. Hope this helps Mart |

There's altogether FAR too many weird "righties" on here! That needs to be a pre-membership screening question for everyone to answer before they are allowed on here! Admin - set something up immediately to keep the odd folk out! ![]() ![]() But there's one type of person who is even MORE odd :- those who wear their watch with the face on the INSIDE of their wrists! ![]() ![]() |

Dear Lord...whatever, Don't let Roff bully you. I've worn my watches on my right wrist for 40 years, and I plan to continue for many more years. True, we righties are a select group, but we must not act aloof and look down upon the common herd of left-wristed watch wearers. They can't help it. Anyway, welcome to our little group of loonies... ![]() Steve |

And that the Banning button is just one click away............... ![]() |

Well, we right-wristed watchies are finally coming out of the closet, proud of our unique heritage. Ban me if you will, but you can't stop the growing surge of proud "righties," ready to take their rightful place in the wonderful world of watch wearing. Our heads are high, our right wrists are exposed -- you can't stop us.... ![]() Steve |

I used to wear my watches on my right wrist but I was struck by a bolt of lightning and the Voice of God spoke to me. He said (in the voice of Moe from the Three Stooges) "You numbskull. Wear your watch on your non-dominant hand!" I woke up spinning around in circles on the floor uncrontrollably saying "Nyuk, Nyuk, nyuk". I looked down and my watch was on my left hand. And there is shall stay for fear that I'll get a bop on the nose. ![]() Also, I think wearing your watch on the inside of the wrist is just so selfish! Do you REALLY not want to share the time with ANYONE else? Silly! |

I'm a lefty but I always wore my watch on my left (dominant) wrist. I recently have ben trying to wear my watches on my right wrist so there is less chance of scratching it. I do a lot of cooking and I usually take my watch off when I do, but when I put it on my right wrist I can wear it without soiling it. ..Still, if feels weird on my right. |

bolofd wrote: +1 for the right wrist...I find it more comfortable and I'm left handed so wearing it on my right will keep it from getting scratched up. This is true. When I did the B tattoo on the left wrist I had to wear the watch on the right wrist for 3 weeks. I felt very uncomfortable and very awkward. I had less control and it seemed that the watch was going to scratch anywhere. But if you're right handed and you wear your watch on the right wrist cause you feel confortable... yeah, definitely YOU'RE A FREAK! ![]() |

Left or right, both are fine. As long as you refrain from wearing one on each. That's just weird. |

I have been left-handed my entire life. Oh sure, most of you believe that I chose to be a lefty; that being a lefty is a lifestyle. Well it’s NOT. I was born a lefty and any lefty would tell you the same thing. I can no more change my extremity orientation than the color of my skin. Yeah the “God-fearing” folks think we lefties are dangerous and damned for eternity. Well let them sit down and tell Mom and Dad “I’m a lefty.” Yet those intolerant leftyphobs would rather put me up in a treatment center in a room next to Ted Haggard. You can’t cure someone of lefty-ness. What are you righties afraid of?? Do you really think we will creep into you child’s school yard, tie his right hand down, and force him to play catch? . I’m lefty and proud!! P’S. a thick chrono on the right hand looks strange regardless, IMO. |
