Indulged myself with this 'little' beauty which arrived today!

Have to say, it is truly amazing for the money, excellent finish, fantastic bracelet with a neat ratcheting diver extension and an ETA 2824-2 movement.

44mm wide and oh so very chunky! (16.5mm deep).

Comes with a second quality rubber dial and a cool two watch travel case.

I'd been eyeing up these Boschett Cave Dweller's for a while now and finally bit the bullet, and boy am I glad I did!!

Great watch!

I'm sorely tempted by one of these, i'm always worried the 16.5 depth might be a bit much for me though!

Nice choice! I was thinking about one of these. If it was just a little bigger, say 46 mm, I would get one.

It looks and feels a lot bigger than it is!

Dam you! You just pushed me over the edge. I just ordered one. I'll keep the color and style a mystery for fun's sake, but I will tell you I got a cave dweller.

Couple of questions: Did you get the swiss or japanese model?
How heavy is it compared to, say, an SA?
How long did it take to get?

Edit: I see on the watch dial it's a swiss movement. Nice!

Nice! Congrats! See this is what I cannot understand. Everyone else seemed to have zero problem offering dlc'd steel bracelet. Why can't the SABS??

16.5 is the same as the Steelfish.

Not being a mysterious sort, I'll say what mine is - brushed SS/yellow dial.

Yep, as you updated, the Swiss model.

Weight wise, probably about the same as an SA, initially it feels bloody heavy but now it's not so bad.

Mine was despatched on Saturday (from the US) and delivered to me in the UK by Tuesday lunchtime, I guess if ordered and despatched on a working day probably 1 - 2 days max.

True statement, BUT bear in mind this is PVD not DLC, so depending on how much Stef (and the rest of you soon to be owners) wears it, we'll see how well the surface coating wears. AFAIK that is the only reason Breitling don't make one.

My understanding from Jack at IWW is that most PVD these days is DLC...He claims that he's made plenty of DLC bracelets and never gotten a complaint.

+1 And as I understand it, Jack can actually remove & reapply DLC coating if it gets bad enough, though most in the Panerai forums seemed to find the coating tough enough? Not to mention so many Breitling owners seem so delicate with these supposedly "tool" watches ("AARRGGHH!! My shower water splashed onto my 300m watch!! Quick, where's the ultra soft toothbrush & all-natural hypoallergenic mild soap??!")
