I need some opinion on deciding whether to buy a U-Boat or an Oris diver. I have never owned a U-boat before, so I dont know anything about their quality and accuracy. All I know is that they are pretty expensive for what seem to be just an mid grade watch with no modification to the movement like Oris. Soo, any information and opinion would be great. And also any info on U-boat's accuracy would be greatly appreciated. here are the pictures <img src="http://www.gemnation.com/images/watches/Oris/643.7609.85.55.RS.jpg"> img src="http://c0369931.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/17584_Uboat.JPG"> |

Oris wins hands down in terms of value for money. I like some of the U-Boats, but not at their prices. |

yeah, the price of U-Boat is a bit ridiculous for me, even though I find their design very interesting. I guess, in the end, the Oris is a way better choice. |

Agreed. Oris is a long-established watchmaker (over 100 years) and only make mechanical pieces. U-Boat are new boys and something of a fashion brand at the moment.... although I believe they have improved their specs over recent months, for example moving to sapphire crystal, etc. Oris all the way for me. |
