Well it's good to see that someone gets it! Imagine if Breitling modernized their vintage models with an eye towards their die-hard fans like Tudor has done. I am loving that watch and I am not even a Tudor guy, and it's "only" 42mm, still a must have at 2K USD for the heritage, value, and overall apeal.

Great introduction video too!

Well yes, it's a nice watch Altair, but......

The best watch at Basel!!!

That may be a little strong. Let me review them a little more and I think I could come up with a few 'better' ones.

Is there a good website that summarizes all the new releases from Basel?

That is a VERY nice watch indeed. Attractive video also. Hmmm may have to look a little more at that one.

I don't understand the 45min 9 sub-dial with red between 5 & 10. Any ideas?

And they should definitely have made the video 10 minutes long so they could play the full Creedence track! :D

OK so best is not really accurate, but certinely my favorite and in my opinion the only watch that scores highly on all fronts. Sure the new Patek Chronos are infinitely better watches, but they simply do not excite me no where as much as that Tudor. Part of it is obtainability I admit.

Maybe not accessible in gold, but the SS version is still pretty sweet.

I saw that and I think that is an amazing watch! Fantastic movement, great case design, inspired dial, great size, just perfect. Except there is no SS version (only gold and platinum as far as I have seen) so with an estimated MSRP of 35-40K, it is still way out of my price range.

Now if they would have come out with an SS version that cost street under 15K USD, then yes that would get me riled up nicely. Untill then the Tudor still holds as my favorite Basel release.
