Wouldn't normally post Ritmo Mundo as there isn't much interest here, but these seemed worthy of a mention

Ritmo Mundo Indy Car

Thanks for posting, Roff. I like the look of those B&Rs.

Agreed although I actually like the de Grisogono the most.

Yep, the De G is very nice. I just got a bit excited at the thought of a ceramic BR03.

Seiko have announced that they are making their Grand Seiko models available worldwide.

They also announced a new Quartz Astron (the original Astron in 1969 was the first ever quartz watch) with a brand new movement with two ticks per second and 10 second per year accuracy.

Extremely underrated watches among the masses and a passionate following among collectors. If they had a Swiss name on them then they would be readily accepted. Not sure whether they are going to really take the world by storm as they don't tend to stand out from an aesthetic standpoint, but great pieces.

Just to add to the Bell & Ross announcements.....

I just found out that the Radar doesn't use hands, those are actually discs that rotate. LE of 500.

Tim, I'd have to wait a while until these models are old news (and have filtered down to my alternative suppliers). No way I'm paying full B&R asking price at the AD.

Roff - which of those discs do you think is the "seconds hand"? The outer one? I think that would look really cool, having it sweep around just like a radar screen.

EDIT - no, the B&R website says the inner dial (with the green mark) functions as the seconds hand. Still looks cool. :D

Technically this was a pre Basel announcement, but it's officially launced at Basel and frankly, any excuse to post pictures of this should be taken.

Ulysse Nardin El Toro in gold - gorgeous:
