The SS bracelet for the PO is awkward to fit into the lugs, you need to have some way of depressing both sides of the springbar, there just isn't room to have it on an angle and wiggle it in that way. I've had an AD concede defeat on the job and send me to the Omega boutique, which had a special tool. I've also seen an AD scratch the lugs doing it.
Unless you're really good with a springbar tool, the best option I've found seems to be the Bergeon 6825 pliers - see part of the way down this page:

. I can't remember where, but I recall seeing on one the forums that someone made their own out of two standard springbar tools.
