I'm curious to know what a lot of you think about Bvlagari timepieces. I see them in the stores a lot but don't hear much about them. What's your take on this brand? Fashion watch or more?

The company's Swiss subsidiary, Bulgari Time S.A., is responsible for Bulgari watch production. It was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in Neuchatel. Bulgari Time SA employs about 500 people.
Today, Bulgari watches make up approximately 29% of the company's total turnover. Bulgari has started developing its own calibers and parts, including highly complicated mechanisms and basic calibers.

Bvlagari are indeed a manufacturer nowadays with their own in-house calibres. Irrespective of whether you like the brand, that alone raises them a considerable way above a fashion watch IMHO.

Yeah, fashion is harsh - they are trying very hard to be taken more seriously. The problem that I see is that thye have a huge perception issue to overcome (as evidenced here), but they have some well made pieces if the name doesn't bother you.

I have no problems with this brand to say the least. I actually like a few of there watches but just don't know a lot about them and rarely see them referenced or compared to any other luxury watches. I was gifted with one a few years ago but honestly don't know a thing about it and it's a bit too small for my tastes but it's subtleties are something to be desired. I appreciate the educational insight on them and respect everyone's opinion.

I would never own one....even if given to me- it would be sold immediately. The biggest problem I have it that most of the bezels have the ugly name printed in large around.
