I bought this a while ago from what turned out to be a rouge seller  He advertised it really bad and when I got it was unwearable due to a broken clasp. Audemars Piguet replaced the clasp under warranty and now I can wear it daily 8)

I bought a new camera to take pictures of my grandaughter and my 9 year old son wanted to try it out, here is his attemp of artistic photography

I am still uncertain if I want to keep this or flip it for a TT Daytona? The majority of members on TZUK think this is a much better watch than the Daytona and that I should keep it.

Thought gents?

Mart

Very nice taffytoon, congratulations! Always disturbing when the watch doesn't match the expectations but glad to hear you could sort it under warranty. It looks great!

I've had a Daytona (not TT though) as I too got lured by the Daytonamaids song. For a while I knew I just had to get it. Then when finally on my wrist - nothing. I couldn't "connect" and it went to sale quite quickly. So from my point of view, keep the AP!

I vote to keep the AP. Usually I'm not a giant fan of AP, but this one looks rather nice on your wrist and not just another Daytona.

I would keep the Ap too personally. A different looking watch but very nice and you don't see too many around either!

Great watch.

Cheers

Nice going Taffy. Shame about the clown selling you it with a duff clasp though.

Another vote for keeping the AP too. Much more of a rarity factor than the Daytona.

Well everyone knows what I would say of AP vs. Rolex, but that really does look good on you!

Taffy as I said before it dosent suit you so pop it in the post and I will wear it for you,

Seriously though Mart its in a diffrent clasp to the daytona it dosent even think about trading this one for that, I am a bit biased though as this is my grail in non chrono format and a LOT rarer than the Daytona and doesnt get confused with the millions of fakes out there of the Rolex I doubt the average joe woule even know what this was. :lingsrock:
