Well I was about to go about my bi monthly habit of changing my straps and inspecting the ol' collection and thought I would video tape it for other people who have no life

Two videos, 19 minutes, no returns policy on the time wasted  Seriousely I go about (clumsily) changing straps on my watches and comparing how easy or hard the different securing methods are. As you can see the Jaeger quick release is the best and the traditional spring bar is the absolute worst, in fact a strap nearly flies across the room as I try to detach it :?

Also serves as an informal STOC, and I show how the Rolex DeepSea actually is as large as a PAM 233

lol the spring bars look hard, i'll probably stab my finger with the tool one day. not a bad rad change on the 210. u seem composed i probably would've let a few curse words fly a few times in the vids if i were you.

Sadly I have a lot of time on my hands right now so I made the effort

Video 2 worked perfectly although video 1 doesn't after multiple attempts :? I'll keep trying.

Those PAM straps sure are easy to change, compared to the spring bars anyway.

What watch boxes do you have if you don't mind me asking :?: Looking for one at the moment.

I thoroughly enjoyed viewing it Altair, thanks for putting the video's together and sharing.

Which box are you guys talking about?

The winder with the clear glass is a wolf winder, and the black wood box is from Heroic18 but they are completely sold out I am afraid.

:uplaugh: That made me laugh out loud.

Actually that is the sound of the lens silent focusing, triggered by the deeper drawer probably.

Great stuff, thanks for posting!

You're better with the spring bars than I am, last time I changed the strap on my IWC I bent the spring bar tool.

How much pressure did you put on the tool Otto  Might be worth while knowing its tolerance.

Tim, it probably had more to do with me buying a $19 springbar tool than anything else!
