Any fans of the BR 02 models out there? I've been looking at them more closely over the last couple of weeks.

Seems like a great, tough tool watch - chunky case, 1000m WR, thick rubber strap, good AR and reasonable lume. The styling is growing on me.

What do you guys think?

The BR-02 is the only B&R that I like.

I personally really like the diver's models with the circular hour markers, but my real favourite is the BR-02 Chronograph. This one in fact - http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Bell-and-R ... ef=Froogle - BUT there's no way on earth I'm going to pay almost 4K GBP (full AD retail) for a standard ETA powered unit. Shame because it's a great looking piece, especially in the flesh.

I flirted with B&R a year or so back, and I do like the look, but as Driver8 says, they are in that category of seemingly lots of manufacturers that are 'cool look, way too expensive for a standard movement'.

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments. That's pretty much what I think too. I know it's not a popularity contest, but it's reassuring to hear that other people like the look before pulling the trigger. :)

The cost is not a problem because I have a really good opportunity, suspect it is close to dealer price. Thanks Australian dollar (at a 25-year high as of yesterday).
