Great IWC Admin. I too was very close to buying a Millie, so I know how tempting they are. In this case you did the right thing.

Now go out and try on a Deepsea...

The silver dial I-dub looks amazing! A black/brown croc can convert that into a snazzy dress piece as well. I like!

When I strap a Hirsch leonardo gator to my GV Milly, it looks like a completely different beast.

I'm not sure about Rolex watches on a strap. I've never liked any that I've seen with the exception of the Celini watches.

I actually dislike the GV Millie.. I prefer the Black Dial regular one. I came VERY close to buying the black one... I really liked the white but after staring at it a while I wasn't sure about the Orange indexes. If it were a regular user I think I would tire of them, but seeing as it going to be part of a 20+ watch rotation, I wasn't as worried but I still was leaning towards black. Will likely still get one.. just not yet :)

The white dial/Orange indexes was the first Milly I tried on over at Brinkhaus. Live in person it was only 'okay'. But the pictures of it all over the forums and the WWW. are spectacular!

I think it's the same thing with myself finally trying on the PAM051. White dial on classic SS bracelet (not the new style, meh!) It's only 'okay' in person, but I love the pictures of it!

Too strange! :?

And Now I said Screw the Milgauss again! I am getting me a Rolex GMT IIc! At first I was gawking at the price, but then I've done a few deals lately and decided to splurge... I pick it up on Saturday!!!

Congrats, admin!

Incidentally, it's a real coincidence seeing this post now. I've been looking very long and very hard at the GMT IIc over the last couple of days. Not having the funds available at the moment will probably save me from having to make a tough choice. It's smaller than I like 'em, but it's just so damn good.

I wanna see some pics when you get it! :D

What's up with the end links? Was the bracelet not mounted?

Even though its smaller diameter than I'm used to I still am drawn to the Green Millie. Its definitely on the radar screen for me this year. I have had it on my wrist 3-4 times last year and really like it. The only draw back is the lack of a date.
