Hello all!

As some of you may know i have for nearly 2 years now been talking about ZENITH, It has always been my grail brand. I may of strayed from time to time (no pun intended) but there were always 2 watches that i absolutely worshiped, always been top of the unachievable tree! I mean, ofcorce, the defy open (probly the one i have machined most on this forum) and the chronomaster open (the one i have secretly been thinking far to much about).

For the past 2 months i have been in and out of various AD's pestering them to look at there range of zeniths... never buying  and on a trip to brighton town i saw the two together! then came the torture... to decide:

A) If i could actually bare to part with my precious money
B) WHICH ONE TO GO FOR!

So today. Popped in. What a fantastic AD! the security guard (who by now knows me) let me in to be greted by the ultra friendly staff that i have come to know for the past 2 years. Got a glass of mulled wine had a seat. talked for about half an hour about the new zenith stock and then looked at "my two". i had made up my mined ages ago but that doesn't mean that i wasn't tough! but as soon as i put it on my wrist i new it was "the one" (lame :o )

I chose.......

The

ZENITH CHRONOMASTER OPEN - white face and black leather 45mm :D

I wish i had pics to show you, i should be able to take some tomorrow.

I am just absolutely gleaming with joy and haven't stopped looking at it! The smooth sweep hand, the open window showing the unique and gorgeous heart beating, the simplicity of the dial (wile at the same time being extremely busy), sapphire case back framing the ultra smart el primero movement, that brilliant crunch feel of the when you start the chronograph.

Just absolutely taken back! Cheers fot the time guys!

Congrats on a most excellent choice! I love that model, too, (definitely on my "to get someday" list) but I would have a devil of a time deciding between the black or white dial.

seriously...i cannot get this watch out of my head now, it's going to be my next watch. why didn't i know about this last month when i was watch shopping? i also can't decide between black/white but i'm loving the white since it just POPS so much. one thing for sure i think it works much better on strap than the bracelet.
