Merry Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, etc (and apologies to anyone whose celebration I've missed).

Merry Christmas one and all.

Hope Santa has plenty of Breitlings in his sack.

Have a great Christmas everyone!

I have one Breitling item in the sack from Santa this year (not a watch though) and definitely an automatic watch from a certain Japanese manufacturer, let's just say it's a little monster!

That's the one! I've always wanted one but never got round to picking one up, I saw some pictures and it reminded me it was about time I bought one, well apparently it's a watch that every WIS should own!

I bought from the very same people too, great price and fantastic 3 day delivery!

Apart from the lack of a hacking mechanism, and no manual wind option, it's a great watch for what it is - i.e. a bulletproof beater. And obviously, the lack of these things keeps the movement as uncomplicated as possible, so adding to the indestructability factor! The only thing you may notice is that they tend to run a little fast out of the box as it's highly unlikely that the movement is touched by human hands during the manufacture process, so they tend to be unadjusted. But it's such a simple movement that any watchmaker will be able to regulate it for you.

Oh and the Seiko Lumibrite will burn your retinas out! Absolutely amazing quality lume. Nice pick up mate!
