Never heard of them I'm afraid.

I can't say for certain that this brand is one of them, but every now and then you get the odd new watch brand popping up, alleging a long and distinguished heritage, when in actual fact they seem to have very little.

I've seen quite a few companies like that with MRRP's in the several thousands, only to find the watches for sale elsewhere for peanuts.

As I say, I am in no position to comment about this particular company, but I've been into watches for quite a long time and I've never heard of them. Just tread carefully and it may be best not to pay the MRRP for one!!!!

(Incidentally the movement in one of their watches looks to be the same as the movement that was in a fake Datora that was identified on here a little while back - the one with the year in one of the top date windows. Just an observation...........)

Thanks for the research on that driver! I did notice that the year was in the movement on that model. I had no delusions that the watches were worth anything near what they were stating, I was more or less just checking to see if they were worth the 70 bucks as a beater watch. I think they look nice and from what I saw on those post the strap seems to be the downfall. Maybe its worth getting one just to check it out. I don't get to run with a crowd that would know the difference so if it is a "fake brand" at least its not a "brand fake".

Yeah, as far as it goes as a mechanical watch, then it's probably worth $70 to $100, so if you like the style and can pick one up for that sort of cash, then why not.

But in terms of their supposed MRRP, then I personally would reserve paying Omega/Breitling money for the Omegas and Breitlings!

Well...I decided to go ahead and jump in on an auction for one and I won it for $30.50 shipping included! I am really impressed with this watch. It is no Ling, that's for sure but for an inexpensive watch it is amazing. Here are some photos that show a bit of the detail. Enjoy!

Thats amazing. £15 for quite a pretty automatic watch. Thats the price of a cheap steak. (not including vegetables).

Hats off to you Chance for getting one for that kind of price! NO-ONE is going to complain about paying that for an auto! Great stuff!

(Just slightly different to the alleged retail price though!! )

Yeah, no way am I disappointed. I wears really well too but my arm feels like its floating after six months of the SA everyday!

Can anyone identify the movement in this thing. I know it is just a cheap movement decorated well, but is it based on any known movement? They call it a TY-2869 movement. I am not familiar enough with all the different movements to know if that 2869 means anything or not.

It's a Chinese made movement.
