Fancied something from 1968 vintage, wondered what to get for a while. Then for no reason I looked at the British Military Watches and noticed the Smiths. I have been looking for a daily beater for ages and thought why not, I bought one that has a little history to it and it has been issued and seen active service.

Nice - you don't see too many of those, and knowing that you got one with some history is even better. I always feel that watches like this should be worn without fear of damage - that's what they were designed for after all.

Is it rude to ask how much you paid? It's really nice.

Thanks for sharing the cool Vintage watch. I have put it as my desktop wallpaper.
Keep sharing such cool stuff.
