I had a crush on the Rolex Daytona for a while, but I'm better now. I was cured before even seeing one in the flesh. I've now got a thing for the Big Bang 44mm, all steel. I'm going to try seeing one next month, but would be very interested in members opinions on this watch, or the Big Bang style in general. |

In a word - AWESOME. I absolutely love the Big Bang, but still haven't been able to justify the £7000+ for the one I really like! |

Which ones that Driver8 ? I think the basic all steel BB is around the £4k mark, about the same as the IWC Ingenieur chrono (I looked at one of these before getting the Blackbird...the IWC was a nice watch but too clinical in design for me after some deliberation). I have to see one of these BBs, relieve the itch as it were. The Breitling AS 'Blacksteel' is a major contender in this forthcoming dilemma btw, if I can find one to look at. |

This one (the RRP is just over £7k, and I must admit I am a bit of a slave to AD's when parting with this kind of cash) - http://www.aatime.com/p/hublot/big-bang ... ement.html But I also like the red gold version, but that comes in at over £10K ![]() |

Very nice indeed...I'm going to have to research this carefully. On face value, the carbon dial / ceramic bezel and ceramic additions to strap add around £3k to the basic steel version. That cant be right surely ? The Hublot site is a bitch to load too. |

Love the look of the big bang, but dont like the ultra-light materials and straps. That's why I prefer the AP Royal Oak Offshore.. has a similar style and is a bit heftier and available on bracelet. |

I have always thought of the Hublot Big Bang as being an overpriced piece of marketing. For the money I too would go for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore. You get heritage, a much more refined movement, and in my opinion a classier looking watch. |

I was considering getting the big bang 44m called the "ice bang" but couldnt justify the large 12k price tag... would rather get a ling and "modest" iwc watch but overall I love the hublot big bang watches though. |

Yes, the Big Bang watches do look great, but when I strapped one on, felt like nothing on my wrist almost.. i suppose that could be a good thing, but after getting used to a Full Ling, its quite a change! |

Yea same here...although the hublot is a little bit "light" I still like the heavy look and feel of a ling! |
