Came across these watches online. Knowing how most of you fancy watches of all brands, I thought I'd post a link. http://shop.newhorizonsaviation.net/Aviation-Watches_c35.htm Does anyone know of this brand - Revue Thommen? Are they really good? Yes, I know it's not my Breitling

Revue Thommen is probably best known for the brand it purchased in the late 90s - Vulcain (manufacturer of 'The President's Watch' - the Cricket). Even though they sold the rights to Vulcain a few years later that's probably still the reason that they are best known in watch circles. These days they don't actually make the watches (they concentrate on aviation instruments), the watches are produced under license by Grovana - they've been around for a while, but I think generally producing branded watches for others - produced some with their name in the 60s, but I think only recently returning to marketing their own name. I don't have any experience with RT watches so can't comment on quality - Swatch Group ebauches I assume. |
