sportback that's a sweet look rollie. their older models didn't really do much for me, but the new gmt looks great (except for the cyclops, not my thing). looks like i'm going to have to swing by a rollie ad to get a look. |

I think that is a beautiful watch! I am pretty sure my next watch will be a stainless datejust white dial w/white gold bezel. |

Pretty sure Admin's gonna get pissed if all I post is Rolex photos...so I promise to get a Breitling next time! This is a sort of 30th anniversary Rolex for me, in view of the fact I got my first one all those years ago, but despite my love of 'rugged' watches, the watch that really caught my eye late last year when I decided to change, was the Navitimer. I didn't purchase it simply because, for me, a truly useful watch must be waterproof - washing hands, generally mucking about and all that. The Navitimer isn't, which was why I purchased my Chronomat Evo. This said, I'm still attracted to the Navitimer design - for me a truly original Breitling - and so there's every likelyhood that I'll be posting pictures of a Navitimer World, black face on a black leather deployant sometime in the near future... After that I'm going to stop buying watches for a while - I feel I've earned a rest !! I know you've all seen the picture before, but this is what I'd like... ![]() Weather's looking up, the GMT ll is sitting very comfortably on my wrist, and I'm probably going to have to do something called 'work' today...have a great day everyone - we deserve it! |

There's nothing wrong with posting your Rolex. Several of us here own a Rolex. I absolutley love mine, it's very comfortable, I'm not afraid to take it into the water, and it's very reliable. I don't get as many compliments on my Submariner as I do my Navi-World. I assume my B-ling stands out more due to it's size. ~Brian |

Well, I wouldn't go swimming with my navitimer but you can certainly wash your hands while having it on.. in terms of water resistance... not trying to ruin the leather strap might be a different story though. |

I love the new GMT Masters. The bracelet and clasps are such a step up from the ones on earlier models. I was actually at the jewelers about to pull the trigger on one when my eye was distracted by a brand new grey dialed Chronomat (Evo). Ended up walking out with that instead because the Breitling just sung to me and I figured that the GMT Master was already similar appearance-wise to my Submariner. I'm hoping that they'll redo the Submariner or Sea Dweller in a couple of years with the same features (maxi-dial, new bracelet, etc.). That will probably be my next watch purchase (or maybe an Omega Planet Ocean so I have more of a brand variety?). Wear it in good health. |
