I'm still looking for the right winder for my 2009 Chronomat Evo. It's the only Auto watch I've got, so realistically I only need a single, but I'd be open to getting a double or more "just in case", for future expandability. But ideally, I'd also like to have additional storage space for my other watches (say 3 more) and jewelry, like a couple rings and tie tacs. I'm willing to pay for the right set of sufficient quality, but don't want/need anything extravagant or really expensive. Not too important what the fit and finish is of the actual box.

One candidate--a Wolf Designs Roadster double ($600) or triple ($900). 600 rotations/day, with a turn/pause program. Anyone have experience with these units, opinions on them? I'm plenty open to other options, too, if anyone has suggestions.

I too have been looking for a winder for my 2009 Evolution Chronomat. The Orbita database claims the Chronomat needs 800 tpd clockwise to stay fully wound. At 600 tpd I don't think the Wolf winder will do the job. I have been looking at the Orbita Siena which is a programmable winder capable of 650,800,900,and 1300 tpd,clockwise ,counterclockwise or bothways. It doesn't come as a dual winder, only as a single or triple. It also isn't cheap but hey, we're talking about an Evolution Chronomat here. Nicer looking unit too. Funny how we keep calling them an Evolution Chronomat even though they aren't.

I have been using the Wolf Module 2.0 with cover and storage space for the past year and have nothing but great feedback on these rotators. I am not sure if the Chronomat really requires 800 revolutions to be fully wound, most are sufficient with 600. The great thing about these models are the fact they wind in both directions. These are also one of the most quiet rotators I have found.

I can't comment on the multiple watch Wolf winder units but I have a Wolf 1.5 single that I've been using daily for about six months without any problems. It is extremely quiet and easy to operate and appears to be fairly well made.
I can say however, that the 600 TPD will be insufficient to keep a Chronomat fully wound. If I leave my Chronomat on the winder without removing it for wear it will begin to loose time. It appears that the watch will stop and then restart for a while when the winder starts it's next cycle. It will then run awhile again, stop and repeat the process. However, this only occurs after about four weeks of being on the winder without removing the watch to wear it. As long as you wear the watch occasionally, every couple of days to once a week even, there's not a problem with it.
