I reall really like their Reverso Grande Date watch and have been reading up on the brand. It seemed to me like they were a top notch company and the products were just pure class.

That is untill I ran into this:

What the hell??!

haha i just saw that, that has to be a joke ? that couldn't be a stock jlc, could it? would be hilarious wearing something like that to the office though, and seeing if anyone notices that it is "fun time".

If it is a custom piece, someone paid alot of money to tell a joke.

Actually I think those are real.. I remember reading about them somewhere... they are special editions of the JLC's, and that's on the back of them... there are some others like that where you open the front and there is some stuff like that.

I think I lost all respect for the brand now.

What kind of a pervert would buy that watch? It seems like a cheap novelty in an adult prank shop or something.

I have to agree with Altair. I'd be embarrassed to show it. Not that I'd even consider buying it. Big mistake by the company.

It's just another case of someone with too much money, and not enough class.

Who cares, let's not forget that watch companies are in business to MAKE MONEY. I'm sure that edition sold out quickly and who are we to judge? If you don't like the watch or company, don't buy their watches. I personally think that is hilarious, but I would never buy it. It's pretty tacky if you ask me. :nana:

I agree with Scarlet Evolution. Also, I used to be interested in pocket watches. There are collectors only specialized in french/swiss 18th century watches with erotic cases/dials/effects. This JLC reminds a bit of that. History-wise I can get the connection, but wouldn't buy it myself.
