got into a new flow as of late, I used to change what I wear as frequentely as twise a day amd that was fun for a while, but after a while I got so aquinted with all my pieces I found myself getting bored with them and not looking forward to the change so much.

Well two months ago I started a new rotation scheme, now I have 10 watches in the safe and the essentials on the winder/box, my dress watch (Omega Railmaster) a knock-around watch (blue Oris Diver) and a true beater watch (Casio G-Shock for the real rough stuff and time calibration of the mechanicals) plus just ONE rotation nice watch per week, a breitling Chronomat, a 6.75, a PAM 233, IWC BI etc and have found that now I am getting that "ooh" moment when I strap the watches on again, its almost like when I first bought them and I am re-discovering what originaly attracted me in each individual watch!

Just thought I would throw this out there, if you have more than one watch try and hide the other for a while and you will discover you are enjoying yoru collection much more than when you constantly change them up.

Interesting. I'd never thought of it that way, but it makes sense to me.

For some reason I hadn't worn my PO in a couple of weeks, but I strapped it on this morning (Omega aficionados will understand why I had to wear one today) and I've been staring at it all day. It's as if I'd forgotten how much I like it.

Might be worth a try. :)

It works, I can attest to that.

I too wore my Railmaster, though I wish I had a Speedy!

I don't have a hard and fast rotation approach - generally keep half a dozen to hand and grab one of them each day - generally different to the day before. I will switch out some of the watches that I keep to hand every few weeks, but generally only one or two - haven't tried swapping out all of them - might be worth it......

I profess my ignorance. Something to do with James Bond?

So it was Otto. No I didn't miss it (you couldn't really with all the news and book releases), I just failed to make the connection

Must have acutally been focussed on work at the time
