Yes...croc. Not jock....!

My croc leather strap squeaks against the lugs every time I move my hand. Its driving me mad!

What can I apply to it to "lube" it up? Candlewax? Shoe polish? Oil?

Personally I'd just leave it as it will stop squeaking over time as it breaks in.

If you really wanted to use something I'd just use a leather care cream. Nothing more than that.

It would drive me crazy too. I think a touch of clear candle wax would work, or if it was me, I would put a small dab of lemon pledge on the squeaky spot using the end of a q-tip. Great lubricant and smells nice. I find that some leather products, creams etc can be a bit smelly. Do a sniff test before applying.

I think I'l try the wax as its relatively harmless.

This might not be the problem that your having but I've experienced on two of my breitlings that if the dealer use bracelet spring bars on a strap you will get this weird "creek-crackle" sound whenever you push down on the strap just where the spring bar is. In both cases I pointed it out to the dealer and it wasnt until they changed the spring bar before the problem went away.

Just a thought
