Do any of you guys own or ever heard anything about Lum Tech watches? They are made in the USA in OH. They only make small batch models between 100-250 of each model that they produce by hand in their family business each year, and they tend to sell out very quickly. They seem pretty cool and they range in price from 400-1000. I ordered two this week. One M13 and one M16. Check out the site and let me know if anyone has any experience with them and any opinions. Thanks Keith ![]() http://lum-tec.com/ |

Looks like a great watch! I particularly like the M series, as they remind me of the Panerai Radiomir, but without looking like they are trying to copy it. They have one I notice with a luminous dial, with no calendar. I think that would be my favourite. Only thing I don't like, is the date between the 4 and 5 o'clock on the others. Also great luminosity! I didn't have much chance to look closely at the website, but definitely one of the more interesting I have seen lately. I am going to take a closer look at the technical aspects when I have more time. Great prices! Couldn't see your m13, but did see the M16. Looks great in stainless with stainless bracelet. Also impressed by the fact that they have non-reflective coating both sides. Would be interested to hear how the service, before and after sales is. Please post some pics of your watches when you get them. Thanks for the post. Cheers, Carl |

They are interesting. Very interested to see pictures of your purchase when it arrives. I think they look like a mix between Bell & Ross (specifically the dial) and Panerai (specifically the case). |

I just sold my M4 yesterday. #29/50. Chris Weigand is the owner "AKA Ray Knight" from the WUS forums. He used to do alot of crazy custom Pan Homage watches a while back. The service you get from Chris is unmatched in my opinion as you can e-mail him or PM and he will answer you that day. It's pretty cool to converse back and forth with the watch company owner. They have a Lum-Tec forum on the Watch and Clock Forums. http://www.watchandclockforum.com/viewf ... e61852eccd They do contests to design their next watch, Chris posts on there daily asking for input from his customer base. He will do custom stuff for you if you ask as well. The watches are unique...the Lume is insane...and for the money, you usually get a SS bracelet and a leather strap with a watch, in a nice leather box. The only reason I sold my M4 was that although I loved the orange and black combo, I found that I did not wear it as much since it was a little too flashy for me in the end. I'm looking to find an M2 and I have a few of the 2009 models on hold. Definately an up and coming company and great service. Definately recommend talking with him. My 2 cents... ![]() |

I'm buying one. You just sold me on one. Those are excellent utility watches, especially for flying. |

I love that level of service, it sells the watch as much as the watch sells itself. My next purchase will be one of them bad boys. |

This is a great post! I love the look of these watches and the prices seem reasonable, I'm hooked! Get some pics up when you receive them, I've just joined their forum to find out a bit more. Cheers Andrew |

They managed to get a mention in July's International Watch - a sure sign that they are being accepted into the mainstream!. |
