Post subject: | BR-01 Tourbillon Phantom |
My local AD had an open house this week with factory reps (Breitling, JLC, Omega, B&R) I had already met the B&R rep when I bought my BR-03 Phantom and when got the talking about the new products they have introduced (he could not provide an explaination for the skull model). After about five minutes he reaches down from behind the case and pulls out the Tourbillon Phantom and hands it to me and tells me to strap it on. I did not want to be rude so I prompty removed my NaviWorld and put it on. I just want to say, everyone here on the forum has some great watches, this BR-01 was beyond nice; there is just something about wearing a $155,000 watch that is just limited to 18pcs. I am not going to lie, for a split second, I really thought that I could out run all the security guards, too bad they know me in there. He was nice enough to offer the watch to me for $154,000 since I already have a B&R. I was however able to pick up a Black Steel SA (#1711). The Breitling rep told me that in total that only about 400pcs were going to be available in the US and that 100 went to pro athletes (T.O has #81) and celebrities. Actually the only other one that the AD had in went to a player for the Carolina Panthers, it was my lucky day. |
