Can you provide a working link for the Hublot that you mean so that I can add it please? I was wondering when UN would get some love.

No, not for me. I've thought hard but some watches are above the cap, and others I don't know enough about, so better to leave it.

Nice call on the 5119, although I would have taken the rose gold version as the link (which is also a couple of thousand less) - I'll just add it to the list as 5119 anyway.

I was 50/50 but agree with you. Here's the link to the RG version:

Added it for now, let's see how many we end up with.

I've got quite a few that I can add, but didn't want to dominate the entrants - would rather make up the numbers to get to what we need.

I must say that I am again a little surprised by the lack of participation by more members, maybe last year's competition was just a one-off.

Been out traveling for the last month or so - thought I would try to catch up a bit. Here is a piece I've been inquiring about, hasn't come available yet but is scheduled to still come out by years (2013) end.

Not sure if I am bigger Breitling or Maurice Lacroix fan. Here is one of my favorites:

Maurice Lacroix Lune Retrograde from Masterpiece collection:

OK, just to bolster the numbers (due to the lack of contributors :? ) here's a few personal (and less mainstream) favourites of mine -

Cvstos Challenge-R 50 Chronograph

I also think we should have a Lange here - I would've liked to put the Lange 1 in, but the RRP is too high I believe, so it'll have to be this -

Some good choices there Driver8, although you chose the wrong Parmigiani. Lots of missing brands in my mind, but we'll get there :-)

I've been trying to add watches from brands such as Richard Mille, Roger Dubois, Louis Moinet etc. but just don't know enough about the watches to make intelligent recommendations (price aside of course). I figure you'll take care of that Roff. Please give me another day. Processing some final thoughts, sch as:

RGM PS 801E
http://www.rgmwatches.com/collections/A ... PS801E.php
The calibre 20 is slightly too high.

I definitely want to put some interesting independents in there. I was expecting to do those myself as they won't be as familiar to many people but also know that there will be one or two independents that I wouldn't personally think were worth but others would and want to make sure that those get a fair crack as well. In some cases I'll probably put some in just to see what people think of a watch that they may not have considered before. As you mentioned the brand I'll include one for now.....

Louis Moinet Twintech, specifically this one:

Some rare independents that shine below the cut-off price point (apologies if these have been nominated already):

Lang and Heyne Friedrich III: http://www.lang-und-heyne.de/en/kollekt ... rich3.html (beautiful traditional designs, about $20,000 I believe)

Ressence Type 3: http://ressence.eu/collection/type-3/ (coolest watch based on an ETA movement - sorry Breitling)
