For me it's a nature of habit... Always had a watch ever since elementary school. I feel naked without one. Having said that I would love a high end quartz in the box, like a B-1.

Just can't seem to get around to it. Something always distracts me. Lol

I think everyone should have a quartz in the collection if but naught to represent just how cool a thermo compensated quartz is. That's why I bought a Reno Airwolf.

Would I wear it in the shower? No, but I wouldn't wear it in a pool either, or any kind of serious physical workout where it would just gather swear, or get caught on something.

Does one really need a watch on all the time?

I can't think of a single event where I would need a really cheap beater were I simply must have the time on my wrist, despite really trying to where I wouldn't have my cell phone in my pocket or close by.

Cutting the grass, yardwork, atv-ing, swimming, at the park with the kids, dog park, anything messy like an art project with the kids, boating, camping, etc.

I would have my phone on me during those times with exception of the pool, and the pool has a clock! I'm not trying to be argumentative, I'm just trying to come from the other direction.
