say what you will...they all look the same.

I've clicked on all the links for 111...117...359...whatever the number. To me they all look the same. In my eyes,

When I first saw a Panerai I thought the same exact thing. I thought they were ugly, I thought that they all looked the same, and I thought they had a stupid piece of metal on the crown protector which reminded me of some sort of cigarette lighter...and I couldn't stand the cult-like Panerai owner's club.

BUT after doing more and more research, and trying on a ton of Pams, I quickly understood what the watch was all about. I have to man up and admit that I was totally wrong about them. The watches are stunning in person, the sandwhich dial is an absolutely beautiful look, and the crown protector is a very innovative creation. I was way off base with my initial reactions on their watches and Panerai owners seem to be a very kind helpful people.

What are you, running for Mayor? Go kiss a baby. :poke:

I'm actually really interested in the 111, it's a manual wind without the date, but it does have the sandwich dial and a display caseback. I also like the look of the brushed case with the polished bezel.

111 is all polished, only brushed part is the crown guard. Great watch, especially for a first PAM.
