In my opinion the 111 and 210 are great watches and hold their value well. The 88 is excellent as well and so is the 268 if contemporary is what you are looking for. 233 is awesome if you are willing to put down the cash and so is the 270 if you do not mind a bit of a cluttered dial.

Fantastic though these two are, they could hardly be called "entry level" though Altair!

I have to say i'm quite taken by the 000 and the 004, although i'm not sure if pvd black is a road I want to go down. Am I right in saying that the 000 doesn't have a display back though?

can't go wrong with a rad 210...45mm but wears a little smaller with no crownguard and being thinner. sandwich dial, display back, understated beauty. i don't miss the second hand more and more as time passes. i'm looking to add one.

Well I just let go my 111K which i'd had for 3 months.

Never fear, it will be replaced. Looking at a 233 at the moment. /waves to Altair. :)

IMO, the prices in the second hand market at the moment have died in the ass big time though.

yes the 000 is a solid back. A shame really because I would love that logo watch with a bare ass.... 8)
