Driver,
My Airman 46mm gets a lot of wrist time.
I'm very happy with it and you certainly don't see a lot of them around.
The Airman Chrono 8 is my alternate to the Airman 17.
Their 46 mm 24 hour purist watches are something else indeed.

Here's a few of my baby...

Nice piece! What's the build like on Glycines compared to say Breitling, as I've never had a chance to handle one in person?

I'd like a Super Avenger, blue face, steel bracelet and a Sinn 6100 white face w/ blue hands.

For some reason the Glycines feel slightly "thinner".
Hard to explain.
Feels as though not the same heft as most of the big Brreitlings but still heavy and solid (at least mine is).
Feels like my SOH if that gives a clue.
Identical size too.
You can get some great deals on them too.
My AD here in NYC can get them at crazy prices.

Hey, Driver, you really do like big watches. That Omega
XXL is gigantic. I tried one on once, and even on my
hamlike wrist it looked huge -- but it is beautiful.
Anyway, here's my 2009 (reality-based) wish list:

Breitling Seawolf (black)
IWC Ingenieur
IWC Pilot's Chrono

A short list, to be sure, but any one of the above would make
me a happy man.

Steve

free rolex? explain.

If I sell a million + worth of merch in a year, I get a free Rolex of my choice. Can't be all gold, can't be Professional models..

Awesome deal, well goodluck, I hope you hit your numbers!

Quite literally only a few days ago I wrote:
My wish list looks like this -

Breitling Chronomatic 49 - black dial/black leather on deployant
Breitling Montbrillant Legende - TT/black dial
Zenith Defy Classic Open - silver dial/bracelet
Omega Railmaster XXL - black dial/brown croco

OK, so as I surmised, this list of mine has already started to change!

The CM49, Monty Legende and Zenith are still there, but the Omega Railmaster has been replaced by something else.......

Today I had the opportunity to try on an IWC Big Pilot, and I must say that is a very VERY nice watch. It's a heck of a lot of cash, but after trying it on I'm not sure if the Railmaster will quite cut it for me now. :? They look similar(ish!) and I quite fancied having one manual wind in the collection, but the Big Pilot is really stunning.

I shouldn't try these damn things on as that's just added a good few thousand onto my 2009 wish list. Dammit!

A much better choice in my opinion Driver8, but certainly a step up financially.

It's a little disconcerting to see yet another member yearning over a non Portuguese IWC, but definitely prefer the Big Pilot over the Omega.

And of course we wouldn't be us if we didn't keep changing the wish list every few days

Driver, you definitely shouldn't have tried on the Big Pilot if you wanted to save your pennies. :)

It is a great watch. The only thing that saved me when I tried one on is that it is definitely beyond me at the moment. One day though...

I know what you mean Otto. In fact, just looking at the pennies and the current financial situation, the Big Pilot may in fact be slipping into the "un-realistic" territory this year. :(

Never mind....., it still leaves me the CM49, the Legende and the Zenith to concentrate on! (Hope the misses is planning on being "understanding" next year when it comes to holidays...... or lack of them! )

It's got to be a Super Avenger White dial with baton markers to go with my Black Navi.
