I was trying to go with the worst release from each brand, but you're right, that is pretty bad!! I am starting to lose interest in this crazy game; I'm sick of being disappointed with every new release.

All-in-all, not a very good year.

That Datejust is very close in ugliness to the Daytona, it would be a photo finish for ugliest watch of the year race.

you might have missed this one, hidden among the abominations, one of the nicest pieces I have ever seen:

Of course it's nowhere near affordable.

Yes, I missed that one because I didn't click on any links...just quickly ran through the pictures. :mouthdrop: WOW! Now THAT is impressive! Finally an original idea! A mere $260,000 :nutkick: Wonderfully complex, IMO. Would be fun to just turn your wrist and show to people when they ask for the time and leave them scratching their heads.

EDIT: It looks like some kind of reactor at first glance. Very cool

Of course...I could be wrong.
History over the years say "no"...But I could be.

It's no secret that's where the money is these days. Their economy is rockin, while the rest of the world sucks. Their culture is becoming more in line with the rest of the world. I think you are right on that one. With the releases from Basel this year, it's painfully apparent they aren't looking in our direction this year.

Are you kidding? I love them all! I want everyone to buy them up in large quantities and then need to sell their aging (3-8 year old or so) models, of course in staggered time periods so guys like me can "settle" for nice lightly used, but no longer trendy, timepieces.

Please encourage the TZ love-fest of these new models, and all such promotional excitement. This may then provoke Breitling to change style once again, back to something we like a bit more.

Just don't touch the Navitimer. That's the one line I draw.

I am so happy.

Harry never fails to deliver... The last Opus was awesome, and this one doesn't disappoint either... 8) :cheer:

Serge, You left out the 40k Sky Dweller that damn near no one will buy unless they have a brain aneurysm in the AD. I only see a few pieces I like ,and all of them are out of my budget.

These pics are awesome, and I have to say, Breitling looks "not so bad" in comparison.

Let's see just how bad it can get for next year once this years export numbers come out.

This is going to be aweeeessssoooommmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

For the life of me I can't understand the gold bezel insert. Even the rubber made some sense - if you are going to a black insert, enameled aluminum is a scratch issue and the options become rubber or ceramic. OK, that makes at least some sense to me. But 18k gold? Crazy. And freaking ugly. There is no sense to it at all, even aesthetically.

I'm so confused..........
