I just broke down and visited the website. I certainly agree the two pictured here as well as several other LUC pieces - the silver dial in particular - are very nice.
I am surprised at the price point! Chopard tends to price everything quite high for what it is. The Milla Miglia Chrono on bracelet was retail at about $6,800 when I bought it a while back and though a chronometer, seemed a rather unworked 7750. Shoot,the Happy diamonds I got my daughter was priced at $5K - for a quartz.
I am quite please to see the direction of the LUC lineup. They have an excellent in-house movement and now are dressed in some appealing clothes.
