This is the worst I have ever seen. i do hate most of the new Breitling designs, but Blancpain took an iconic watch and turned it into a grotesque, bloated caricature.

Yeah, it's the comparison that kills it. In and of itself it's not the worst watch out there. But the normal FF is so beautiful. This is definitely the ugly sister.

Obviously there has to be some need for this watch otherwise BP wouldn't make it, and I'm sure the people who need it and can afford are perfectly fine with it.

Wow...they really screwed up a classic. The only thing I do like on it is the bezel. The dial is so busy, and those beautiful trademark hands are...well...gone.

I was about to say how much I hated it, but it actually looks okay in that link. As long as its not a replacement for the FF, I dont mind it too much. Price and size are stupid large.

I don't think they screwed up a classic because the classic is still available, unlike some of the Breitling classics which have been discontinued.

This watch is not my cup of tea and I don't think any one would buy this watch to wear daily, but I don't think Blancpain intends this to be a daily wearer. I think they're just showing off the technology they're capable of making. From what I have seen, only on-line, most diving "computers" are this big or bigger and are just as funky.

It's almost like a MECHANICAL G-Shock, which is pretty cool. (I'm assuming this is a completely mechanical watch.)

No lugs on this puppy?

On a side note, I don't think it's a replacement for the OG FF... wouldn't make sense to...

It deploys the life raft that pops out from the display back.

I'll warm up just this much to it: If you are a professional diver or wealthy person who is a diving fanatic and takes some challenging dives, I guess I understand. Trying to say this is the same watch you'd wear to the office or a dinner party, no, sorry. A tool watch in a very pure sense of the word.
