This has nothing to do with this thread but does illustrate how I viewed the attorney tree when I was involved in the judicial system (state and federal). Although not an absolute; here goes:
Crappy attorneys become judges. Fair or "average" attorneys become prosecutors. Good attorneys become corporate or firm lawyers. And lastly, any judge with a prefix (e.g. Administrative Law) is not a real judge.
And yes, most state prosecutors don't get too flashy (because they frankly don't make much money). Federal prosecutors are another story...They make decent (fair) money and can afford nicer things.
To get back to the thread, an Omega is a good choice for a public servant. Cost effective and not too flashy.
