OK - been avoiding this as it means I have to think about it - and decide which is 1st on the list.

Super Avenger - White Face - Bracelet
SuperOcean Heritage 46 - Black - Bracelet
Datora - Silver Face - Brown Croco

I guess the order will be decided by what comes along - right time & place.

There that wasn't so bad - just spend the thick end of £10k

:D

Well, lessee....

My next one will likely be a Panerai Luminor Marina, likely a PAM 005

I'd love to have a Navitimer World,

...potentially an Omega Planet Ocean, likely the new James Bond version (been a fan for years),

and a Tag Link or Breitling Colt Oceane for the wife.

In horribly non-realistic dreams, I'd love to have either a Patek World Time or Breguet Perpetual Calendar.

Good to revisit this thread. I've actually managed to get 2 of the 3 models I was after on my "realistic" list .... which is all the more amazing as my "wish list" changes by the day!

I woudl put down a new hit list, but as soon as I finish typing I'd probably be changing it again!

Ah yes, this is a much better thing to be thinking about than work :)

Here's the somewhat realistic list:

Super Avenger
Navi World
Skyracer
IWC Portuguese Chrono
Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow

And some less realistic choices:

Carl F Bucherer Patravi GMT or Chronograde
IWC Portuguese Automatic
Girard-Perregaux ww.tc

Patravi comes in cheaper than some on your realistic list - why less realistic??

Bucherer make some great watches!

Really? I wasn't sure what they cost (we don't get them here) and the ones I've seen on the net have been out of my price range. Maybe I was looking at precious metal versions or something like that.

I agree, they look like great watches, although I'm yet to handle one. I like the design of them.

Street prices for Patravi GMTs start around $5,000 US. Of course if you want the new TravelTec Four X you are going to pay a little more

My tastes are a little more expensive and venture into the Maneros, but they are all extremely well made watches and to my mind very good value.

Thanks Roff. The one that really catches my eye (other than the Four X!) is the 46.6mm GMT. Think I'd be paying a bit more than $5k for one of them though. Still, another reason to go and visit my sister in the States :)

Another thing that seems to have struck me in the last day or so: I like Nathan's 50mm U-Boat. I think I want one...

Right now I'm intrigued by the Perrelet double rotor ti or their chrono. Anyone have experience with these?

That Patravi lists for around $10,400 I believe, so probably $7,500 - $8,000 at a friendly AD.
