Well this is easy for me. Assuming I can keep what I already have...

1. PP 5135G
2. JLC Navy SEALs Alarm Incursion (seems to be a popular choice!)

Yeah there are a few people here who apparently get some pretty good discounts - Endless's PP5146 and Breguet Type XXII for $50k is pretty good going as well!

Being the "variety" guy, I will go with a few:

1. Rolex Deep Sea Dweller
2. Panerai 335
3. Breitling Chronomat GMT
4. Rolex Explorer II (black dial)
5. NEW Omega PO chrono

Not sure if I could get all for $50k, but it would be fun trying!

Now this is a cool thread.

I'd go one of two ways (mainly because I would need to try these on to make sure they fit):

1. VC Patrimony Traditionnelle World Time.
2. JLC MC Diving Chrono GMT navy Seals.

or

1. AP ROO Safari
2. Blancpain 50-fathoms
3. JLC MC Diving Chrono GMT Navy Seals.
4. Breguet Type XXI

The Brequet retails for 19k and the 5146 for 34k, could definitely get a dealer to close on those two for 50K and if not, 100% attainable second hand.

Brequet:
retail 19k
new here for 15k:
http://www.luxurybazaar.com/items/itemi ... Black.html

pp 5146
new 31k:
http://www.luxurybazaar.com/items/itemi ... _Gray.html

Total of 46k new...

Now why did I think these were about 40000GBP?

So, you're saying that they are actually about 170000USD!!!!

Maybe not then.

Yeah my bad - I was looking at the 5146 on bracelet - $67,500

No way your getting a type XXII under retail, they're nearly impossible to find. Beverly Hills boutique had one and won't see another for awhile.

Luxury Bazaar lists a lot of pieces that they don't actually have.

Extra 30k for bracelet? That is INSANE, but I guess it really doesn't matter to the folk who collect PP watches anyways. Ahh someday, the 5146 is my grail.

I'd pick up a blue dial Patek 5980 and a Deepsea. Comes in a little over $50K retail, but with discounts it should be possible.

I would buy used:

AP ROO Safari $14,000
PAM 372 or 233 - $10,000
Rolex 1680 Red Sub - $10,000
Rolex Sub-C LV - $8000
PAM 292 - $7000

I would spend the extra grand on another strap for the AP.

The XXII is no exception, I called today and they've never seen one. There is one at the BH Boutique, could have been at my door tomorrow but don't have a spare 19k right now :(
