I hear ya man, I didn't really see what the big deal was with them until I got to try one on. It's so much more impressive in person, to me at least.

Thanks but very few people have a collection of that magnitude...mine is just a small rotation.

On a side note...just hung up with the Breguet Boutique in Beverly Hills, they just got a Type XXII in yesterday $19,200 no discount and they don't think they will see another for 6 months. AD's can get their hands on them yet. DAMN IT!!

I agree with the majority. Go with the ROO. It's a beautiful watch. You've moved up scale since I've known you.

I didn't like them either and thought the screws on the bezel were stupid. Once again....I tried it on and it was love at first wrist sight. Just like Panerai and Fifty Fathoms....really need to be on the wrist to appreciate what they are.

I didn't have too high of expectations when I first saw the black themes when I was at Govberg a few weeks ago, but of all the watches I tried on in my 3 hours there, that was the one that stood out the most. I just couldn't believe how nice it felt on and I was very impressed with the bracelet.

Serge, did you find the lugs made the watch sit funny on your wrist. even though its 42mm it wears much larger.

The lugs wore great on my wrist, much better than i expected. I feels larger than 42mm but it worked for me to my surprise.

The ROO is an amazing watch! I love both my Safari and Black Themes but the Themes gets the node, allot of presence and not in a vulgar way.

Good choice!

Quick work Serge on selling the 7-day. I saw your post yesterday but couldn't decide which way to go, which makes it easier now that you've already committed :D

The 7-day, while nice and classy, I think is a little plain. I do love that seal though. I've never tried on an AP (no AD's around unfortunately) but that does look like a very very nice watch. You can always get another 7-day and Seal watch too though which helps with the decision no doubt. Congratulations in advance, you've really got a great collection now!

Appreciate it Tim. The buyer and I talked about the 7day yesterday morning which is what lead me to create this thread. The 7day might look plain in photos but in person it really really pops. The case is quite thick, it has brushed sides which look awesome, and the display back is amazing. I can definitely see myself adding it back in the future.

The Navy Seals is another great watch, I wish I could keep them all...but in order to swing the pricey AP they must go. I'm going to post that one on the boards in the next day or so.

As soon as the Navy Seals is sold. I am putting down a 50% deposit tomorrow. The watch was just received from Switzerland and was still in the Swiss Air box, not even unwrapped...the AD Is holding it for me until I can pay the rest. WOO HOOO!!
