The AT2000 does have a great lume with the different colors...probably the "coolest" lume of all my watches.

Except it takes a big ass UV flashlight to give it a good charge with that hevily lumed bezel.

I've been researching the IWC Spitfire Mark XVI, and just thought I'd share a pretty sweet lume shot someone posted on the WUS IWC forum. This was taken right after the watch came back from some warranty lume work.

Are Ball's with the tritium considered to be Lumes or is that another class ?

I know they use gas tubes , but they look amazing .

Lume is lume. Before luminova when it was tritium paint they didn't call it Trite. So yeah, tritium gas filled tubes are lume. Illumination.

True, although it might be possible to say the tritium tubes are a different "class" of lume, insofar as they're not paint. Also, unlike SL, they do wear out over time. But yeah, it's still lume.

Yeah, I have a couple Luminox with tubes. Only guaranteed for 20 years.
