Fantastic pick up Altair, really awesome piece. Just out of interest where in Dubai did you pick this up? I'm out there 5 or 6 times a year for work and would love to pay that AD a visit.

Congratulations again!

Picked it up from the Glashutte boutique at the Dubai Mall. Remember to haggle!

I will, back out that way in two months, better get saving :-/

Wow Altair!!! I have been a big fan of GO for awhile now. They give you a lot of watch for the money, and the level of detail and finishing is really amazing at their price point.

Congrats on a superb pick up. I know you will enjoy this one for a long time!!!

Thanks for the comments guys, Sharkman, yes I agree that is an amazing watch for the price, and the fact that it is in steel is the major factor, but I also think Glashutte deliberately priced it so aggressively to win over a larger market share.

Absolutely gorgeous, but do I really need to be looking at this when I suddenly have money back from the Martin Braun

Great review, incredible photos, awesome watch - congratulations.

Roff, trust me on this one! Get. This. Watch!!!

I dont know if he has access to this model though, it states on the website that it has limited sitribution to only some of their boutiques, not all, and none of their resellers.

Thanks Tim. Cant tell you guys how stocked I am about this watch, it is unbelievable!!! Those pictures do not do the watch justice at all, neither does this video, but I thought it would provide more of a real live perspective of the watch and its exceptional packaging. the leather case, pouch, and secret compartment are awesome!

For anyone considering a higher end watch, please look into this model! Just take a look at the specs:

44.5MM case

Totally in house, heavely decorated, 72 jewel, 514 part, totally unique one of a kind movement

One of a kind complication

Flyback Chrono

Big Date

Exceptional finishing

Limited production and distribution

under 20 K

Need I go on?

Here is the Video I promised:

Great video Altair. You are too funny.

You are right about the pictures - as excellent as they were, they didn't do this watch enough justice. When I saw the pics, I really didn't understand all the hype on here. Now I do.

Ahmed that video REALLY shows the watch off. I am soooo envious of this purchase. This one is awesome.

I am a little confused about the red number complication, is that a countdown timer or what is the function of the left side??

It's a counter - you can use it to count anything you want. Advances with the press of one button and retreats with the press of another.

Wow Ahmed.

That is simply gorgeous.

You have the most awe inspiring and jealousy inducing collection I know but this is by far my pick of your collection.

Many Congratulations.

I feel sorry for the rest of your collection. I mean seriously, are they really going to get a look in now?

I'd love to see an updated video of the entire collection. I could be wrong, but I think the last video that showed the entire collection was the JLC alarm vs JLC alarm, and there have certainly been a number of changes since then!

If I may, my suggestion would be GO Counter vs Collection (and of course you could use the counter as you go through and compare to each one!).

You can just tell the quality from the instant you open the inner travel case, Altair. Simply gorgeous. And that little space for the pusher tool inside the travel case cushion is just genius. I love stuff like that! Great great watch Altair!
