I'm not sure why anyone even replies to these "messages." I was taught long ago to ignore certain things and they will go away...

Ironic that you say that, because you replied to the damn thing too!

That's the last I'll comment on the thread as, with you, I'd like it to find it's way down the page sooner rather than later.

No personal attack here, just an honest question - although I don't hold out much hope I'll get any answer, let alone a straight one. But in the even I'm wrong...

Archie, I haven't read your e-book, but I did watch your Youtube video of what you consider the to be the ten greatest watches of all time. Can you please explain why you include both an Omega Speedmaster and Breitling Navitimer in your top five, but you also come on this board and put down ETA-based movements, and bash James Bond movies for featuring Bond with an Omega? While I'm inclined to think you just like spouting whatever random thought is in your head at the moment, I'll give you a fair chance to explain your widely disparate proclamations.

BTW, thanks for the free gift that requires I register with the distributing site in order to view it.

The Breitling Navitimer and Omega Speedmaster Professional Man on the Moon watches are 2 classics. The ETA thing is not as bad as it sound - at least you can get it serviced anywhere without getting raped! ETA movements aren't such a bad thing - Franck Muller also uses ETA.....

I supposed I just use that line to put a few people in there place.

In house movements are great - expect even parts are required.

The true Bond Rolex is an Explorer 1 -1016. This was even Ian Fleming's watch!

You mean, as bad as you made it sound? I'm not aware it sounded bad before you came in making fun of people for having ETA-based movements.

So does that mean we shouldn't take your pronouncements seriously, and should only consider your statements within the context of your emotional whims, like a drama queen? I can live with that.
