Obviously not hard enough  I remembered seeing a abv./ack. sticky and when I found it in sales I gave up. Hey at least I tried Google, BSource main site and one section of the forums. Gotta cut the new guy at least some slack for that, no? Not like I was asking how the PM stuff worked or the like :P

Pardon my ignorance, but with is WIS. No luck on google finding anything watch related and the site glossary says nothing, not even any "W" entries. No luck on the Sales abbreviations / acronyms either.

You should know that Roff gives no partial credit.

Well come on - he found the sales FAQ which has a link to the one that he was looking for right at the top of it. He then asked for the abbreviation from the page where it's a sticky.

I mean, if you're going to tee them up like that I'm going to hit them out of the park

So no love for the Kobold, eh? Wrong forum for this or is there something inherently not likable? I like the crown on the other side, I actually like the fact that it is hard to read in a way. Also, don't think you would see too many in daily use. Seems like a good watch to start conversations with...comes with a couple of straps too. Which after my recent phone purchaseS with George at Govberg has me anxiously waiting for a delivery :D

Anyone seen the Kobold in person?

So do I, but I don't know anything about the company, and I have to wonder why every other company puts it on the other side-- presumably because it's easier to operate? That said, if you're going to use the function less often than, say, you'll spend typing or similar with your wrist bent at an angle, this might be worth considering.

WRT the controls on the other side, this could be good marketing so take it with a grain of salt but what I read in the article in iW mag. was that the SEALS he was working with to develop this said they wanted the controls on the other side so you could operate the start/stop you your right thumb not fingers. Different always catches my eye and as a chrono goes this is typically not the norm.

Still I like the Code Yellow a lot. Going to NYC in March. Have to stop by the BBotique and see if they have one in stock. :D

In my defense, your honor, I almost always click the "view new posts" link not look at individual forums

I guess you were referring to my question.

edit: Nice bike BTW. You're a glutton for punishment with the single speed.

This one is more my speed:

Yea just goofing around a bit at your expense. Nice ride. My MTB is pretty dated, I need/want a new one before too long. I have a few road bikes and a tandem, but only on MTB. Looks like a great place to ride, where is it? BTW, the fixie is fun once you get used to it. Not being able to coast down hill is a bit of a PITA, but keeps things interesting.

One of the best trails in NJ is a few miles from my house, hartshorne reservations. It's up and down the whole time. Lots of fun.

I always wanted to try a fixed gear. It blows my mind that some couriers in NYC use them --and with out hand brakes. Crazy!!
