@Roff, do you think there will be an issue with the PVD coating on the trigger (I assume it's not DLC like Breitling use)? I was thinking that since it's on the left side of the watch it should hold up pretty good and not really be subjected to any potential dings?

Over time the PVD will wear - it's the nature of the beast. PVD has improved from a few years ago when it peeled off in strips, but it's not going to be as resilient as DLC, even without dings.

What kind of time frame does PVD start to show wear Roff? Does the base metal make a difference with how well PVD wears?

That's impossible to answer, it's like asking how long before gold plate wears, there are just too many variables.

The base will make a difference, but just one of many factors.

Totally tracking you on the variables involved, that makes sense. Just curious what you or anyone else may have heard on that front in general terms.

My vote is the red as well.

I was not too familiar with the Graham line, but this thread peaked my interest so I strolled over to their website to check out their offerings. They have some models I find unique and worthy of adding to my list of "Want to collect". Initially I wasn't too fond of the trigger system, but it's one of those things that the more ya look at it the more it kinda grows on ya....kind of like Panerai....well some folks anyhow... :poke: Roff  . Below are some of the models I find of interest.

This is an awesome looking Diver

One without the trigger that caught my eye

And one that has a different take on the trigger along with some awesome features such as; 46 mm steel with black PVD case, Steel with black PVD bezel, Power Reserve indicator, rattrapante function, and Smoked see-through sapphire crystal case back with limited edition serial number engraving. Probably out of my price point league, but worthy of at least  over.

I couldn't find a pic of the back of the last one anywhere and I sure would like to see that, so if any of ya'll find one post it up.

The AD I visited had that diver in stock, but not the fully PVD model, it was the model with the PVC bezel and trigger/reset buttons. The yellow accents were kind of cool, also, I found once you put in on your wrist, the trigger contraption is not all that imposing, but that's just me :D

BTW, how did you insert the image files directly into your response? I tried but couldnt get it to work.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Just copy the image location from wherever it is online--right click image and click "copy image location" or "copy link location" (http://www.xxxxxxxxxxx.xxxx.xx/xxx/xxx.jpg for instance). Then click the "Img" button above the text box, and pate the image URL in between the to "img" tags that appear.
