I agree with Justin...if you get the AT2000 buy it on the bracelet first and pick up the strap later. You can save yourself a lot of money that way.

That brings me to another question actually.....

Of the choices between the two bracelets (Blackbird and Aquatimer) which is the more comfortable? I really like the Blackbird bracelet, but have not seen the IWC in the flesh, and a quick change system certainly might make up for any preference to the Bird's bracelet

I dont have the BB, but I would imagine that it is more comfortable than the AT...Shark could answer since he has both.

I think that the bracelt on the AT is very comfortable, and visually it has a really clean look. The bracelet does not taper any, and the clasp is hidden at the bottom. The only negative is the lack of a micro adjustment. There are 1/2 links, but no micro adjustment.

I've never worn the AT but the BB bracelet is without a doubt the most comfortable bracelet I've ever worn.

The rubber strap on the AT is very comfortable. The strap chang system is great, if you get a chance to handle one, you need to have the AD show you how it works. Like Shark said, you could easily change from the strap to the bracelet at a red light.

IWC all day. Classic and timeless. Makes the others look gaudy.

Nice selection, but I really think it boils down to when/how often you will wear the watch. I chose my BlackBird because I can wear it with a t-shirt and jeans or I can wear it in the water or I can wear it with a suit as it will be appropriate for just about any occasion. I can go from the boathouse to a nice restaurant and not have to worry about it.

With the other two watches, I believe you are more confined as to when/where you could/should wear the watch.
