Well I see nothing has changed with Altair, with the exception his Panerai collection has tripled since I last stopped by.

Was wondering where you have been lately Altair, haven't heard much from you. Now I see you've been 'hangin' out in the Panarai shops :) .

Great selection Altair, now how many people need a half a tree to display their Pam collection?

Please do not sell the 47MM PAM 305 Luminor Sub, I can not afford it, I can not afford it, I can not afford it, if I keep saying that to myself I may be able to convince myself, but it looks so gooood.

Ian

Oh no worries there Ian my friend, the 305 and 323 arent going ANYWHERE! They are too perfect to sell!

By the way if you think the 305 looks good in pics, dont go looking at one!! Lest you suffer from as many sleepless nights as I have untill you do buy one!

Super amazing collection!

Curious why no Fiddy or Fiddy Destro? 47mm but definitely wears smaller than your 323!

Well, because I dont like the Fiddy. In fact I owned a 127 and a 249 and sold both. Dont get me wrong both are cool watches with amazing history but are overpriced to such a level it is just silly! Maybe if they had an in house movement and where better made, but as it stands, I get to keep 233 + 305 with Fiddy cash, both of which are superiour to the Fiddy except in teh traditionalist historical category, and got a 323 in place of the 249, a far superior watch in my opinion. To each his own but i preffer newer models with modern movements and better finishing while still keeping the historical aspect alive.

The Zero and 111 are great because they offer the same movement, are historically faithfull (so they scratch that itch), and cost is reasonable, plus they look great

wow that 323 is a MONSTER~! i'm still not used to the all numerals of the 359, but i'd sell the 111. the 000 is the most plentiful, cheapest, plain, etc etc...but it's the zero, the logo, the base!

The 359 has got to be seen in real life, I hated it in pictures but in real life its amazing! The tan numberals are acually not as prominent as the white ones, so the smaller ones actually fade away, kinda like when I saw all the text on the deep sea and thought it would be a pain but its actually quite unnoticable.

Plus the polished 1950 case is a stunner! And I dont usually like all polished cases but this is amazing! I will try and get some better pics this week.

Try one on with a sandwhich dial and you might get 'it' I couldnt get it either until I tried one on; then it hit me.

Yep - it's true, sad but true. What turned me off about it is what I like now - it's just so bloody bizzare.

( :lingsrock: Marie, Reno will be amazing. Shall I bring a tux?)
