That does sound like it would be incredibly annoying.

Nice find - first time I'd seen that in action. While I agree it's weird, I actually quite like it! It's something different, and shows a level of ingenuity (no matter how pointless), so in my book it's pretty cool.

I feel like that would give me a headache just watching it going round & round.

It's definitely something different. While it would draw your attention at the start, no doubt you'd become habituated to it over time. First time I've come across this particular differentiater (is that a word) in a watch.

Well I suppose it's possible one could become accustomed to it. But do I want an otherwise gorgeous watch with a feature to which I must acclimate?

My money (not that there's much left!) is on ths 1 second dial disappearing.

I like it a lot.

I think it would like having an tourbillon but even more "useful"

Hats off to JLC for trying something new. They have a reputation for innovation. I bet this watch still sells well.

I wonder if it comes with a health warning. I could imagine weaker minds becoming hypnotised by that. Perhaps that is the sales persons secret weapon.

"Look into this watch face......breath slowly......count backwards from 100......feeling sleepy?........good......now give me £30K for it".
