Well as far as I'm concerned (although Roff may have a different reason for saying it's not overly great value), it's a minimum of 10K for the steel version and it's a base ETA under that fancy tri-retrograde module. For that sort of cash there are better value pieces out there. Additionally Milus are not exactly well known outside of watch circles so you aren't even paying for the name. Still a nice looking watch though.
Milus is one of a number of boutique brands that I have been looking at pretty seriously over the last year or so, but the problem is always the same - you have to pay this kind of money because there are fewer units produced and so overhead is higher per unit and they all use base movements with modules.
The ML is an in house movement, but for now their reputation for lower end pieces makes it hard to justify the higher prices for their higher end pieces - the same argument that says you can't get full value for a luxury home in a lower end neighbourhood.
That may be changing as ML is making a concerted effor to go up-market, but it will take a few years.
Perrelet is an interesting case, they are better known, although still relatively small volume, but as mfserge says resale value is through the floor - they haven't been able to build and sustain a reputation, possibly because the watches are niche market - I think that they have some great designs, but they aren't for everyone.
