Ofrei has a non-branded 6111 for $15 - it's identical to the 6111, they even say so. http://www.ofrei.com/page252.html

They also have the 676 for $12. 6111 is much nicer with the curved fork.

Yeah I saw that one before I ordered mine. I dont know if im just too skeptical or what, but I needed mine to say "Bergeon" on it just to make sure it was real.

I had to compress the leather to get the springbar aligned with the hole - the leather strap was thicker than the space between case and springbar hole.

You really don't have to keep asking the same question in multiple places.

As I said 10 minutes ago - 6767F

6111 can as well. In fact, id argue that it is better equipped than the 6767f. The 6111 has the fine tip fork for bracelets, the small pusher for springbars, and the extra large fork for straps.

True enough that the 6111 can - I posted after reading his previous question asking which was preferred (can you see the confusion that duplicate questions create).

I'm really not a fan of the larger fork (which is the same as the 6767S I believe), preferring the fine tip even for the strap springbars - I've never had a problem with them fitting.

I have the Bergeon 6767 F and S and tend to use the F more as it is required for bracelets and works OK with leather. Both from watchtool.co.uk as they turned out to be the cheapest I could find.

However on another forum AceTimer (eBay seller) was recommended and at £6.33 ($9.99 US) in p+p I gave them a try as a backup. Very good tool. Nickel like the Bergeon and with a fine and standard tip and 2 extras as spares. One is reversible if you want the point for pushing out pins. US based so may be worth it for US people needing one in a hurry.

I still tend to use the Bergeon mainly but happy to use the one from AceTimer as well.

Its not the same large fork. The one the 6767S sucks. Its too thick and doesnt slide in between the strap and case easily. 6111 is flat and angled so it gets in easily and prys nicely.

Didn't realise that the 6111 had the bent tip - it's been a long time since I used one and clearly memory is fading as I get older

I guess bottom line is both work so use which one you prefer.

RJRJRJ Does are all 3 pictures you posted from 6111 and is the 3rd picture showing the fork the same part and dimensions on 6767 and 6111?

All pics are of the 6111. One end has the large fork, and the other end has a reversible tip with the pointed tip (pin pusher) on one side and the fine forked tip on the other.

I dont know if the tips are interchangeable with the 6767 though.
