Congrats on a most excellent choice! I love that model, too, (definitely on my "to get someday" list) but I would have a devil of a time deciding between the black or white dial.

seriously...i cannot get this watch out of my head now, it's going to be my next watch. why didn't i know about this last month when i was watch shopping? i also can't decide between black/white but i'm loving the white since it just POPS so much. one thing for sure i think it works much better on strap than the bracelet.

yeah i looked into the black one, but i went for the white one for the exact same reason as you said, it just pops! I think it exaggerates all of the little features on the face and makes it more readable.

There is a Bailey Banks and Biddle at the Glendale Galleria that had one a couple of weeks ago at 30% off (going out of business). I told the lady I might consider it if it were 50% off and she told me to call her after thanksgiving. If youre in the market it couldnt hurt to give her a ring.

Very sweet watch. I tried one on for the first time, and my first thought was "holy crap this thing is huge!" Congrats and enjoy.

Sigh, it's my dream dress-watch as well. Ownership, however, is too far away for me to see without a telescope.

One day...

I do see what you mean, about being simple and busy at the same time. Just classy! That dial is, to my eyes, busy but perfectly symmetrcial. Nothing looks out of place. The case is wonderful. And I love the way those lugs are done, too. The back is a work of art in itself.
Nothing cramped on this watch, although a lot going on.
Always enjoy your posts! I am glad that I stopped by today, and read about your new acquisition. Congratulations and a Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Carl

ps I am glad you didn't find it in Harrods!
