Not bad (for you) Driver8

I registered on a Rolex forum to ask the question, but as a new member my post had to be approved by a moderator before it was posted. It took over 3 days by which time it was buried on the 3rd page and no one even looked at it let alone responded.

Irrelevant at that point as I had the back off, but does help us to appreciate BreitlingSource.

So who actually solved this mystery...?

He surprises the forum by being the one actually asking for help for a change and look how it ends up

I did - I got the caseback off and the Made in Hong Kong quartz movement was a bit of a give away

I know, I just meant that it was the first time I'd actually seen you asking for advice for a change, and you went and figured it out yourself anyway!

I just saw this thread!

Ok heres the deal, some of the ladies Rolex watches did have writing engraved (on old versions)

On mens size, only the Milgauss, Sea Dweller, and the new Deep sea sea dweller have writings on the caseback!

Oh forgot to mention, im not an expert on ladies Rolex watches, however it doesnt look authentic, i can be wrong.

Thanks Thani - I already established that it's fake - it has a Chinese quartz movement.

If you get another one where you don't have the proper tool to get the back off the case, try double sided carpet tape using your thumb or the heel of you thumb joint. The last resort is a small piece of drill rod hot glued to the case back. I know these are not elegant solutions, but they work. Both methods clean up where you can't see anything like that was ever done. :wowzers

Just simple watchmaker secrets guys!
